2014 Tour Details

Melbourne Cemetery AngelBookings are essential, and the tours are subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.  Tours also leave at different times.  Bookings can be made on  (03) 9872 5492. Please note that it is not necessary to have gone on Part 1 of any tour before booking for Parts 2, 3 or 4.

We are only available for group bookings of 10 or more people, and the tours below have been booked by groups.  Individuals are welcome to join the group tours, but bookings are essential for catering purposes and in case of last minute cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.



February 5.  A morning tour for a small group, on the topic of Who was Who  Part 1.

March 5.  A morning tour for Museum Victoria volunteers on the topic of  Who was Who  Part 1.

April 5.  A tour for a men’s group on the topic of Who was Who Part 1.

April 24.  A morning tour for a Seymour seniors group; topic to be confirmed closer to the date.

April 29.   Tour for Bulleen Heights Probus Club.  Who was Who  Part 1. This tour visits the graves of a wide variety of 19th century Victorian characters, from the ghost of the Princess Theatre, to the victim of one of the most sensational murder cases in our history.

17 May  Law Week Tour; Law and Order,  featuring victims, offenders, legal personalities.  This tour will only proceed if a minimum of 5 bookings are received.

May 24.  A tour for a U3A group on the topic of Pioneers.

Please note that we do not take bookings for the winter months of July and August.

November 16.  This is a tour for members of Mensa, on the topic of Who Was Who Part 1It is set tentatively for the morning, but this may change closer to the date.

Could group booking secretaries please notify us well in advance of proposed tours; we are taking tentative bookings up to November 2014 at the moment.  It is easier to reserve a particular date and cancel, then try to make a booking at short notice, as the date may have already been taken by another group.
