2013 Tour Details
Bookings are essential, and the tours are subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. Tours also leave at different times. Bookings can be made on (03) 9890 9288. Email Helen on hdh1[at]ozemail.com.au for inquiries. The tours commence from the College Crescent entrance, unless advised otherwise.
Please note that it is not necessary to have gone on Part 1 of any tour before booking for Parts 2, 3 or 4.
We are only available for group bookings of 10 or more people, and the tours below have been booked by groups. Individuals are welcome to join the group tours, but bookings are essential for catering purposes and in case of last minute cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.

2013
January 22 Medicos & Misadventures. Hear the tales of 19th century medical men, their patients and the treatments they inflicted on the unfortunate sufferers.
January 24 Law & Order, Part 1.
April 3 Who was Who Part 1. This tour visits the graves of a wide variety of 19th century Victorian characters, from the ghost of the Princess Theatre, to the victim of one of the most sensational murder cases in our history.
April 3 Who was Who Part 2. Politicians, pioneers, unfortunate murder victims and Irish patriots feature on this tour.
(Note: Both these tours are morning tours; there a few vacancies available on both, but numbers are limited.)
May 19 Law Week Tour. Take a walk through this historic cemetery and learn about some of the 19th century characters buried here. This tour looks at practitioners and upholders of the legal system, some of those who exploited it for their own benefit and some of those who were victims of that exploitation.
June/July/August We do not run tours during the winter months.
November 20 Tour for Kilmore Historical Society; topic to be decided.
Could group booking secretaries please notify us well in advance of proposed tours; we are taking tentative bookings up to December 2013 at the moment. It is easier to reserve a particular date and cancel, then try to make a booking at short notice, as the date may have already been taken by another group.
